Patients managing chronic conditions often struggle to keep caregivers and medical teams informed. MEDARY was built as a minimum viable product that lets patients record symptoms, medications, and daily notes in an encrypted timeline that only authorized parties can read.

How does the encrypted chronological timeline work?

Each health entry is encrypted client-side before it is stored. The chronological timeline is assembled by decrypting entries in order on the user's device. This means the backend never sees plaintext health data, satisfying strict privacy requirements from day one.

How are medication summaries generated?

A local summarization pipeline reads the decrypted timeline and produces plain-language summaries of medication adherence, symptom trends, and key events. Caregivers and clinicians receive a concise view without needing to scroll through every individual entry.

What was the MVP scope and timeline?

The MVP launched in six weeks. It included patient journaling, caregiver invites, end-to-end encryption, automated summaries, and a Flutter mobile interface. This proved the core value proposition before expanding into integrations with electronic health records.

What are the patient and caregiver benefits?

Patients gain an easy way to track their health, and caregivers get an at-a-glance summary of what changed and when. The encryption-first design builds trust and keeps sensitive health information under the patient's control.
